Contract hours Bakery
At Dudok Horeca Groep, we follow the Bakers’ Collective Labour Agreement (CAO Bakkersbedrijf) and the corresponding salary tables:
INCOME TAX
On-call employee
If you apply the payroll tax credit at Dudok, you do not pay income tax on your wages if you earn less than €715.50 per month.
Contracthours
If you earn more than €715.50 gross per month, you will pay income tax to the Dutch Tax Authority. You can only apply the payroll tax credit at one employer at a time. If you have another job besides Dudok, you must choose at which employer you want to apply the tax credit. If you don’t apply it at Dudok, you’ll pay income tax on your entire salary.
We recommend applying the payroll tax credit at the job where you earn the most money which isn’t always the job with the highest hourly wage.
If you have multiple jobs, it’s very important to let us know. That way, we can withhold the correct tax percentage on your salary and holiday pay, preventing unpleasant surprises when you file your annual tax return!
holiday pay
On-call employee
Your holiday pay and vacation hours are paid out monthly. If you only work at Dudok and have no other job, you do not pay tax on your holiday pay. If you do have another job and do not apply the payroll tax credit at Dudok, you pay 35.82% tax on your holiday pay.
- Contract hours
Each month, you accrue 8% holiday pay. This is paid out in May each year. If your gross salary is the same every month, your accrual will also be the same each month. If your salary or working hours vary, your holiday pay accrual will change accordingly.
pension
As of January 1, 2024, everyone aged 18 and older pays a pension contribution. The good news: Dudok Horeca Groep contributes a portion of this premium. In addition, we pay 100% of the survivor’s pension premium on your behalf.
